Giving Herbal Supplements for the Holidays |

This holiday season I decided I would give people gifts of health, so I did a lot of research and decided that I'd give them herbal supplements. I listed all the health conditions that each person has to deal with and found herbal supplements that will help ameliorate the problems. My mom has high blood pressure and rheumatoid arthritis, so I ordered a bottle of borage oil for her. She takes a lot of ibuprofen for it and after reading about borage oil, decided it was worth a try.
I myself am a big believer in herbal supplements for conditions that require prescription drugs. For one thing, there are fewer side effects, they cost less, and they are easy to come by, especially online. My mom doesn't have a computer, so I order lots of things on her behalf, but I want the herbal supplements to be a surprise for everyone, so I didn't tell her that this is part of my gift to her for the holidays. This product is Jarrows Borage GLA-240 and it's a high quality product. The Jarrows' product also includes Vitamin E, something that is also really good for the human body.
I found it at Silver Star Wellness located at www.silverstarwellness.com, a website with a lot of different herbal supplements and products for health and wellness. I ordered all the herbal supplements for my friends and family from this site and they had something for everyone. I am giving ginger to my sister and her son who both suffer from motion sickness, ginkgo for my brother who works really hard and could use some energy boosters, and I ordered some rosemary oil for myself to use in food and on my face for its anti-aging properties.
Shopping for these online was so easy. The Internet is a vast store of information for just about anything and I learned so much about herbal supplements and remedies as I was shopping for Christmas gifts. It was fun and I hope that my family and friends benefit from what I'm giving them. Most of them already like to use alternative medicine techniques to avoid prescription drugs, and some of them have incredibly healthy diets which go a long way toward reducing inflammatory conditions and promoting good overall health. I wrapped the herbal supplements in red and green wrapping paper, and I'm going to include a rosemary sprig on each one, both for the scent and the fact that rosemary is one of the most beneficial herbs growing in my yard.
