OK, so build muscle by jumping? Just exactly what does that mean? It sounds painful! Well, before you completely write off this game plan let me explain! It is fun and actually not painful. It can be done at home in your own backyard or at a gym that teaches tumbling and gymnastics.

Have you guessed the name of the piece of fitness equipment of which I speak yet? It is a trampoline. I know from personal experience that the trampoline is a great way to build muscle. It is fun and does the trick very quickly. I set one up in my backyard. I am able to leave it up all year and head out anytime to get in a workout. Sometimes I look out the window while sitting down watching television and realize I need to get busy.

I am particularly proud of how I have been able to build muscle simply by jumping on the trampoline! I started for fun with the intention of thwarting my inherited potential for arthritis. It turned into something much more! I have used the trampoline to build muscle for many years. And now, I really can't go for long without getting out there and jumping!
