Build Muscle by Rooting on Hometown Teams |

My buddy probably lost a pound in sweat alone while watching the final Angels vs. Red Sox game yesterday. He grew up in Anaheim so when his hometown team was coming down the stretch for a 3-0 series sweep of the World Series Sox he was up out his bar stool jumping around, fist pumping in the air rooting for a chance to face the Yankees. He got what he was hoping for. This may be an unconventional way to build muscle but it works and during this time of the year many of us are taking time out of the gym to watch our favorite teams.
It was not as much of a build muscle routine rooting for the Seahawks yesterday who ended up taking a 41-0 win against the Jaguars but my heart was pumping. Beautiful day in Seattle led to a beautiful Seahawk win. Hasselbeck didn’t show any signs of pain after coming back from a broken rib. If the hometown favorites keep winning, I may lose the build muscle gym routine all together. Cheering can be a great calorie burning exercise. On the other side, when the hometown team loses hitting the gym to build muscle for some stress release is a good idea too.
