herbal supplements Our bed of nasturtiums was so colorful this year and since we grew them organically, I tried the flowers in salads and they were delicious. We put all kinds of ingredients in salads, including herbal supplements, and we have lots of those in our yard, too. We grow rosemary, lavender, chives, and aloe, all of which are effective herbal supplements, but instead of using them for specific reasons or cures, we use them for their flavor instead. We have no way of knowing how strong these are, so when we need herbal supplements to feel better, we buy them online.

And the herbal supplements we choose are always organic. It's not that hard to go organic with herbs since they require little by way of soil amendments or water. This isn't true of all herbs, but many of them thrive in poor soil and dry conditions which makes them ideal for growing in the desert southwest. The soil in our yard is pretty good, especially when we add organic matter to it. Without it, only native plants would grow and we wouldn't have nearly the diversity of vegetation in our yard.
