Aerobic Exercise will Build Muscle |

Any kind of movement that causes the heart rate to increase above and beyond the norm could be considered aerobic. A sustained working heart rate is the best when looking to burn fat and build muscle. One of my favorite aerobic exercises is riding my bike. I have an indoor exercise bike I ride when the weather is inclement. Otherwise I really like to build muscle by riding outdoors and breathing in the fresh air.
I often take my bike on camping trips and ride along the mountain trails. One of my most liked trails skirts along the edge of a mountain rim. You can look over and see the highway below. There is not a lot of wiggle room on this trail so it keeps me on my toes while I get my aerobic workout and build muscle.
Another great outdoor aerobic activity is hiking. It is a fun way to raise the heart rate and exercise. I have a special spot I go to that winds in and out of a creek and then up into the mountain. It has a distinctive aroma that I love and can truly spend a full day there hiking. Afterwards I feel great. I know that I have been able to build muscle and loose inches with aerobic exercise. |
