Using yard maintenance to build muscle. |

I do not know about others who mow, trim, and maintain their own lawns but in my instance doing the required lawn chores is a great way to lose weight and build muscle. The reason why I build muscle and lose weight during the spring, summer, and fall lawn care months is my yard is rather large and terraced. there is very little of the yard I can mow with a riding lawn mower so I use a traditional push lawn mower and a heavy duty weed trimmer. I find that i am a bit soft when spring rolls around and it does not take long to see the results of my lawn care work. I start losing weight without the need of weight loss supplements and I build muscle without any muscle supplements. I do take herbal supplements to aid in my over all health but I think they also function as weight loss supplements when I step up my activity level. One way I build muscle when doing lawn work is the constant hauling of leaves and grass trimming to an out of view spot where I dump this debris. This functions as my own "compost pile" where all the leaves, grass trimmings, etc begin to break down into great organic compost for use in my garden, around shrubbery, in flower beds, and around trees. My neighbor uses a round frame into which he inserts a large heavy duty trash bag to empty his yard trimming into and when he rakes up fall leaves. This works well until he tries to lift the bag out of the tall frame work and drag it to the curb for pick-up. Most of the time the bag rips, and he has to start over amid quite a selection of colorful language. He is certainly able to build muscle this way but I think I have come up with a better way to build muscle without all the problems he has. The FISKARSĀ® Kangaroo Gardening Container (30 gal) has a unique pop-up design that holds itself open while you use your hands to gather and load leaves, trimmings, or weeds. The Kangaroo Bag also folds down flat and hangs neatly on a hook rather than taking up valuable garage floor space. The container stores in a compact three inch high stack, has a durable woven polyester construction that is tear and mildew resistant.

I located this handy lawn care helper at Silver Star Wellness located online at http://www.silverstarwellness.com/ where I find many helpful products.
